Our Sorrel Pancake syrup is made in Barbados and is packed with naturally occurring vitamin C. This light and sweet syrup is a great addition to breakfast, as a topping on pancakes, or as a delicious topping for our popular Blueberry Pancakes.
Sorrel is a herb that’s easy to grow. It’s an annual that prefers moist soil. Sorrel is the same plant used to produce our traditional sorrel drink. The leaves of sorrel are steeped in water for a couple of hours and then strained, reducing the water to then build an amazing syrup. It’s a mild, tangy, refreshing, slightly sour syrup that’s great on pancakes.
